Project workshops
Workshop April 21 and 23, 2015 at VBS Hamerlingplatz
On April 21 and 23, 2015 further workshops took place at the VBS Hamerlingplatz. With the aim to boost the autonomy and hence the motivation of learners, the students were first requested to consider what kind of features tasks for e-tandems should have. Subsequently, the project team presented to the students characteristics for those tasks that are mentioned in the scientific literature (to see the poster, please click here). The next step was then to develop a task on the basis of these characteristics, which will be performed by the pupils in e-tandem.
Kick-off Workshop in France
On the occasion of the workshop with the German learners, which took place at the Lycée St. Francois-Xavier in Vannes on March 26, 2015, Dominique David has worked on the topic “living” with her class. The students then presented their results in German. Furthermore, Eva Vetter briefly introduced educational objectives of tandem learning to the students, as well as the program Oovoo, which they will use in order to get in touch with the French learners in Vienna.
Kick-off Workshops at the partner institutions in Colombia
Together with the project participants kick-off workshops were organized at our partner institutions in Colombia on February 5 and 6, 2015. They took place in Medellin at the Universidad EAN in Bogotá and at the Centro Cultural Austriaco. Click here for the program. Here are the photos of the workshops.
Workshop on January 23 and 27, 2015 at the VBS Hamerlingplatz
Further workshops were conducted on January 23 and 27, 2015 at the VBS Hamerlingplatz. As part of this workshop the students were introduced to Moodle and Oovoo, whereby the students installed the latter under the guidance of Julia Renner on their laptops. Furthermore, students were informed on how to keep a learning diary, which they will now complete regularly and upload to Moodle. To see photos from the workshops, please click here.
Kick-off workshop at the VBS Hamerlingplatz
On November 21, 2014 the FAME – team has organized a kick-off workshop at the VBS Hamerlingplatz and introduced the topic “E-tandems” to the pupils. To see photos from the workshop, please click here.
